北京时间9月11日消息，美国与英国和爱尔兰顶级业余球手之间展开对抗的沃克杯本周六在苏格兰皇家阿伯丁高尔夫俱乐部举行，处于劣势的英爱联队在第一天比赛中有一个很棒的开局，之后收获一个震荡的结局，最终以7比5的比分，领先明星云集的美国队。
$ H+ G) b7 E3 {7 t+ ^ 主场作战的英爱联队在过去三届沃克杯赛中都输给了美国队，可是本周六第一天的比赛，他们却在早上四场四人二球赛中赢得了前三场比赛。下午，正在力争沃克杯四连胜的美国队曾经以4比3反超获得领先，可是在一场暴雨过后，17岁的威尔士选手瑞斯-皮尤(Rhys Pugh)、英国冠军史蒂夫-布朗(Steven Brown)、苏格兰球员詹姆斯-伯恩(James Byrne)和爱尔兰人保罗-卡特勒(Paul Cutler)全都至少在第17洞的时候赢得了单人对决赛。
